Environment - Orihuela Costa
Playa Flamenca is an extremely popular and an exceptionally well known part of the Orihuela Costa. It is recognised as one of the Orihuela Costa's most popular locations, boasting 2 delightful beaches (plus a few quieter coves). There is also an extremely diverse selection of dining and nightlife experiences and the peace and tranquility of sleeping near the sea.
La Zenia is another great Orihuela Costa all year round favourite with holiday makers both from Spain and elsewhere. Its best known landmark is the La Zenia Hotel, sitting on a rock-face, right on the edge of the Mediterranean, with pristine beaches either side of it and visible from all around, especially at night.
The 2 beaches are immaculate, with crystal clear waters. Thousands of visitors every year, descend onto one of the Orihuela Costa's most perfect and cleanest beaches. Around the main area of La Zenia, there is a great and varied range of restaurants, cafes bars and shops to keep locals and visitors alike happy for those who want to stay local.
Villamartin is slightly inland from the coast, but very easily reached. It is almost hidden, by the imposing trees as you drive toward it. Arrive at the plaza and the story is very different. Cool and elegant, the palm trees gently sway on a breezy day, shading you from the intense heat of the sun. The Villamartin Champoinship Golf Course, is right on the doorstep, as are the Real Campoamor & Las Ramblas courses.
Alicante airport is approx 50 mins drive and Murcia airport at San Javier is only a 40 min drive along the AP7 motorway.
